A fraudulent claim alleged I paid Mt Khan, and when I asked for clarification, the caller abruptly ended the call.

A call claimed my £5,000 bank loan had been approved, supposedly from Nationwide, and urged me to ring back with reference LN6109 if I hadn’t applied – I never did, so beware.

This number was used in a bank scam to make it seem like money had been withdrawn from the account.

The call referenced Nationwide Building Society; since I don’t hold an account, it must be a scam.

A text claimed a £3,350 payment to F Khan and told me to dial 0330 818 6896. The caller then requested personal information for an account I don't own. It's unmistakably a scam; after realizing I wouldn't cooperate, they hung up. Stay alert.

Be cautious—fraudsters are exploiting this number. They attempted to persuade a family member to authorise a hefty Nationwide payment by calling the line. My relative doesn't have a Nationwide account.

It appears I was prompted to transfer £750 to Mr. Khan – another classic payment scam. The text from +44 7561 609494 said Nationwide had set up the transfer and to call 0330 818 6896 if I didn't authorise it.

Received a fraudulent message purporting to be from Nationwide, asking whether I'd attempted to access the mobile banking app in Cornwall and, if not, to call 03308186896. I don't hold an account with them nor use online banking, so it's a scam.

I got a call yesterday, called them back, and when I asked who was on the line they hung up; after contacting Nationwide they advised reporting it to Google fraud.

I got a text from 07957 192916 claiming Nationwide had set up a £750 payment to Ahmed Patel and advising me to call 0330 818 6896 if I hadn't authorised it. I never held a Nationwide account, so I blocked and reported the number.

Many messages claim a £750 transfer to Mr F Khan. Mine read: “NATIONWIDE: Your transfer of £750.00 to Mr F Khan has been set up. If you did not authorise this, call 0330 818 6896.” I hold no account with Nationwide, and even if I did, I wouldn't respond to an unsolicited text containing numerous errors. I blocked the sender, deleted the message, and marked it as junk. This is yet another absurd scam attempt.
