I was informed I was in a queue and would be connected to the next available representative, but they hung up instead.

Ekspertvurdering
Ever wondered why that unsolicited call feels off? Reports consistently flag this number as a scam operation, where callers peddle fake wins like Tesco or Amazon vouchers, free legal documents, or even cars from competitions you never entered. They might already know your details to seem legit, but it's a ploy to extract bank info or push dodgy links. One chap cleverly messed with a persistent caller, switching from prize to legal docs—brilliant, but risky. Always block and report to Action Fraud or text 7726 for calls. Don't engage; hang up immediately to avoid phishing traps. Stay vigilant—scams evolve, but your caution keeps you safe.

They informed me I'd won a contest I never entered. Clearly a scam.
SCAM 😂 Oh my goodness, these calls are so persistent, happening at the same time every day this week. I finally answered today (in a mood for it), and was told I had won a prize that either I or my children had entered. When I kept insisting it was a SCAM, he quickly altered his tone, insisting I listen because I had won. He became frustrated as I kept repeating SCAM, then changed the subject to LEGAL DOCUMENTS that I needed to sort out. I asked him to clarify which it was since he initially said I had won a prize… it was the best 5 minutes of my life watching him get flustered before he hung up 😂😂

Claimed I'd won an Amazon voucher, then tried to sell me something before I hung up.
This is a blatant scam. They claimed I won a Tesco voucher and had my personal details. They wanted me to click a link and enter my bank information, which I obviously refused. Don't be deceived by their politeness.
This is a scam, the caller claimed to be from a life insurance company, which was not relevant to me
