I got a call from this number at 11:30; it rang twice then hung up, and a second call followed which I chose not to answer.
This was clearly a scam attempt.
Supposedly representing my housing authority about a repair, the caller spoke broken English, claimed to check for mould, and had no connection to any official body; I reported and blocked them.
This turned out to be a housing repair scam – irritating, probably generated by AI.
Someone claimed to be from the housing authority with an Indian accent, wanting to discuss our housing issues – definitely a scam!
A fraudulent caller inquired about my mobile contract and a switch to EE, then called again twenty minutes later pretending to be from a housing authority. I clarified I own the property, there’s no housing authority involvement, and I blocked the number.
