Said it was regarding my TalkTalk account. Not odd since I'd been tinkering with my TalkTalk setup. But then the guy inquired if I was a current customer...
As a TalkTalk user, it's not wild they'd hit my landline. The rep claimed marketing and pitched a package, which fits since I'm off the fixed deal waiting for full fibre. But she only had the number, so probed for my name and more—stuff TalkTalk already knows. I held back 1) not fully convinced and 2) hate pushy sales calls, honestly.

Claimed to be TalkTalk regarding my account. When asked to confirm my name or account number, they couldn’t provide either. After that, they simply said 'have a nice day' and hung up. Clearly a scam.

After contacting TalkTalk two days ago to inquire about Fibre Broadband, I received a call from this number last night. They questioned why I hadn’t proceeded with the change. I explained that TalkTalk had informed me Fibre wasn’t available in my area. They checked my postcode and claimed it was available, offering to transfer me to customer service. I declined, suspecting a scam, and decided to verify the information myself the next day.

On 30/12/24, at 1143, a call from 0330 057 6419, likely a non-geographic or VoIP number, was missed. No message was left, probably a scam.
On 28/12/24 at 1730, I received a missed call from this non-geographic number, possibly using VoIP. No message was left, and it is likely a scam.
Following a visit to the Talk Talk web site to request a new router for my broadband, I recieved a call which was actually related to my visit, the representative was apolagetic and courteous after I explained I was an existing customer, he simply wanted to know if there was anything else he could assit me with, seemed pretty harmles to me.
Exercise caution with this number, even if it appears to be legitimate, as scammers can easily impersonate real businesses, and it's essential to take control of the calls and report any phishing attempts
Multiple attempts were made by someone claiming to represent TalkTalk. After expressing disinterest, I terminated the call and blocked the contact.

Got a call claiming I’d placed a TalkTalk order recently and they wanted to assist. I asked when it was made, and they hesitated before I hung up. Clearly a fake TalkTalk number.
Be cautious, this number is associated with a broadband scam
A broadband scam appeard to be the motive behind this call, which occured at 9:50 this morning, and the caller asked for my personal details, includin my bank sort code, before I realised it was a scam and hung up.
At 15:15, I received a call from someone claiming to represent my broadband provider
