Usually I wait for a voicemail from unknown numbers, but none was left – just a wasteful scam call.
Dodgy Windows Call – Scam Alert! - +44 29 2168 5387 (029 2168 5387)
Summary — +442921685387
Expert Opinion
Like a fox slipping through the undergrowth, this caller preys on the unsuspecting with unsolicited pitches for windows and doors. Reports paint a picture of persistent harassment: silent lines that go dead, jolly voices from 'David' pushing unneeded replacements, and dodgy company names that don't check out. No voicemail left, no real business vibe—classic hallmarks of a scam operation ignoring TPS rules. Block the number pronto and report to Ofcom if it rings again. To stay safe, never share details with unknowns; verify any legit firms directly via official sites. Hang up on silence or pressure tactics—your peace is worth it.

Another windows‑and‑doors scam.
Added yet another scam call to my extensive blocked list…
Typical silence while they attempt to route you to a scammer, usually ringing between 8 am and 9 am – extremely irritating.
That cheerful bloke named David called twice, each time insisting he’d removed my number from his list – I never requested new windows or doors, yet the calls kept coming.
He introduced himself as an energy adviser; I asked him to remove my number from their list and then ended the call. Clearly a scam.
The caller displayed a Cardiff number. I cancelled the call while at the hospital, looked it up and found it was a scam, so I blocked it.
I cut the call when the speaker said “Hi, this is David calling from…”. It was a marketing number calling a TPS‑registered line.
When I answered, nobody spoke, so I hung up, identified the number as a scam and blocked it. Calls have originated from Cardiff and similar ones from Manchester and Oxfordshire.
Absolute rubbish scammers.
The name “Windows and Doors Ltd” seems not to be a legitimate UK business.
When I answered, the call was silent before the line dropped; I suspect a scam as there have been no follow‑up calls, just another typical nuisance call.
