When I inquired who was calling, he stated my home breakdown cover would be reduced next month. Upon asking for the company name, he hung up. This call followed my online and telephone interactions with British Gas regarding a boiler breakdown on my home cover.

On 2/12/2024 at 14:31hrs, I received a call from 02871 164439 claiming to be from a person named Gary. He mentioned a decrease in contract prices for electronics repairs and knew my name and address. He stated that paperwork would be mailed, but when I asked for his location, he claimed to be from Repair Centre at 13 Elizabeth Road, Bournemouth. However, that address doesn’t exist. When I inquired about being in Boscombe, he replied that the call was recorded for security and refused to disclose his address. Clearly a scam!

A person with an Asian accent, with call centre noise in the background, claimed to be Amanda from medical health. I doubted her identity and ended the call.
