Caller with Indian accent claimed EE affiliation, offering a deal. Told him I'm not a customer, and he ended the call immediately—total scam.

Skip answering. Like reports from others, it's an Indian guy offering 50% off your EE bill due to signal issues and complaints. I thanked him and disconnected, then blocked the number. Certain it's a ploy to extract personal and banking info.

As fellow users noted, it's an EE fraud. Picked up to a call centre vibe, with a woman hacking away—textbook Indian operation. She claimed EE affiliation, promising perks for the 501st client (huh?) and lower bills. Being on PAYG, I spotted the nonsense right away and ended the call. Haven't added credit in around nine months; EE's probably itching to reclaim my line due to infrequent use. Scammers likely pull basic info from external sources to personalise vaguely—they got nothing on my real EE dealings, though I didn't let them try. If in doubt, quiz them on your account specifics to test their knowledge.

Called yesterday using other numbers, so I blocked those. Another Indian call center promising to cut my contract in half – ridiculous, since I'm on pay-as-you-go with no deal from them. Hung up, blocked this one too; they switch numbers constantly. Damn fraudsters interrupted my sleep once more.

Scam pretending to be EE

Bogus call from an Indian call centre via London, offering 40% off my EE bill and an upgrade – but I'm not an EE customer. Sounds way too perfect.

Woman with an Asian accent purporting to call from Three; I told her their HQ confirmed they don't make unsolicited calls, marking it as a scam since they never do. Amusingly, she then cursed and hung up!!

On 22-01-25, I rarely use my mobile except for contacts I recognise, so an unexpected call raised alarms right away. The voice matched descriptions from others. I felt rattled and wary, repeatedly asking his identity until he lost patience and ended the call.

Similar to previous reports: background call centre sounds, thick Asian accent, claimed to be from EE. I stated I’m not a customer, they replied "ok" and ended the call. Obvious fraud, blocking immediately.

A scammer pretended to be from EE, offering me discount, they rang off when i confronted them

Normally, I don’t answer unknown numbers, but I did this time. Claimed to be from EE. Told them I don’t have an account and hung up. Blocked the number. Nuisance scam.

This number called offering 50% off my EE bill. I’m not even with EE, so it sounds like a scam.
