Expert Opinion
It appears that the caller, often a woman with a strong Indian accent, is attempting to scam individuals by pretending to be from various reputable companies such as EE, BT, or Sky, offering discounts on their bills or contracts. The caller typically asks for personal details, including account numbers, email addresses, or bank information, which raises significant security concerns. Many users have reported that when they refuse to provide the requested information or question the caller's legitimacy, the caller becomes aggressive or hangs up. It is essential to be cautious when receiving such calls and to verify the caller's identity before sharing any personal details. If you receive a call from this number, it is advisable to hang up and contact the company directly to confirm the authenticity of the offer.
