A woman called my wife while I was out, demanding to confirm if she was the household head; after my wife’s evasive answers the caller grew angry. I later learned she was part of an energy scam. As a TPS member, I’ll report her.
After a delay, the call finally connected, clearly a call centre. An English‑accented woman claimed to be an energy advisor; I told her she was a scammer and would be reported. She’s called several times now, sounding identical each time.
Someone claimed to be checking home‑energy efficiency in my area and asked if I owned the property; I told them it was none of their business and they hung up.
When the typical “I’m your energy adviser” pitch came, I told her to buzz off.
