Opinione dell’esperto
Scarcely believable how brazen these fraudsters have become, impersonating trusted names to pilfer your details. Calls from this number overwhelmingly point to a scam operation, with callers posing as O2, Tesco Mobile, or even Sky, often with heavy accents and aggressive tactics. They dangle discounts or bill reductions to lure you into sharing security codes or emails, aiming to hijack your account. Never disclose such info over unsolicited calls—hang up straight away. Enable spam blocking on your phone, report to Action Fraud, and verify any offers directly via official apps or websites. Staying vigilant keeps your data secure; these pests thrive on haste.

Rang today; device flagged as potential 'SCAM'. Blocked immediately.
Yet another London line – total spam zone – always ignore such calls
Female caller from India asserted she was with O2 mobile. Clearly a con.
Fraudsters rang offering six months off my bill for being a reliable payer, then wanted my email address. I ended the call; they rang again right away. I called them out as scammers, he argued and disconnected.
Claimed affiliation with Skynet. Said I'm a long-term user and could lower bills. Indian-sounding man. I disconnected, now blocked and removed.
"Tesco Mobile here," she claimed. I shot back, "Piss off, you're not," and blocked the lot.
Similar rubbish here. Some Indian-sounding woman says she's from O2, dangling a 6-month discount for loyal punters. Reeks of a scam. She texts a code for my phone, I hang up sharpish. Rang back three more times, the cheeky sods. Rotten scammers, hope they get what's coming.
An Indian caller on 020 8040 0525 pretended to be from O2, quizzed me on my plan, then pushed a 6-month discount for loyal users. I called it nonsense since I was in an O2 shop at the time—they disconnected….

Pretending to represent Tesco. Sounded like they were in a hectic call centre with a thick Indian accent. I ended the call right away, searched the number online, and blocked it.
Just dialled my phone, but fortunately it flagged it as spam so I rejected it and blocked after looking it up here
Claimed to represent Tesco for service feedback and some offer. Excessive background racket made me doubt privacy in any discussion
A lady claimed to work for O2. Inquired about my reception quality - I replied it was poor. She promised a resolution in 24-48 hours. I doubted that, explaining the issue's plagued me for years, not something fixed overnight. Then she mentioned, as a loyal payer who's always on time with bills, I'd get a special rate cut. I asked, brilliant - what's the amount? She paused to verify, then offered 20%. I said excellent, what's the final figure? She insisted on dispatching two SMS with the offer details. I questioned why not disclose it right now while chatting. She repeated the text plan to confirm my identity as the account owner. But you'd dialled me directly. Finally, I requested the account name, and she disconnected.
