Expertenmeinung
It seems like a gang of scammers is impersonating Tesco Mobile, often using an Indian accent, to trick people into believing their SIM cards need urgent replacement due to a technical issue or upgrade. They are persistent, sometimes calling multiple times, and may even mention the last four digits of your phone number to sound more credible. However, genuine companies like Tesco Mobile typically communicate such issues via official channels, not unsolicited calls. If you receive such a call, do not share any personal information and verify the issue by contacting your network provider directly. Blocking the number and reporting it to the authorities can also help prevent further harassment.
