This is Barclays crime prevention. I questioned them and put the phone down on them but rang Barclays crime prevention and it was confirmed they had rung me to question a large payment I had made which they suspected may have been fraudulent . They had put a block on my account until I was able to confirm details. Very impressed with the way it was handled.
Someone called me sayin they were from Barclaycard and they wanted to talk about a fraudulent transaction, but I didnt beleive them, so I called the real Barclaycard number and they said it was a scam

Appears to be a fraudulent number. I have received two calls from it recently, both times they disconnected after the initial automated message claiming to be from Barclays, leading me to believe this is a scam to check if the call is answered.
