I’m not sure what next2finance is; they called, mumbling about a loan – sounded dodgy, so I blocked them.

Opinione dell’esperto
London evenings often bring a barrage of dodgy calls like these, with reports flooding in about persistent nuisances from numbers ending in 2283. Punters describe silent hangs-ups, pushy pitches on loan compensation, car finance reclaims, and heat loss scams that vanish when challenged. These seem to be rotating digits to dodge blocks, often with foreign accents or automated bots scraping details. Block the lot, register with TPS if not already, and never share personal info—it's a classic phishing ploy to hook you in. Report to Ofcom for a crackdown; staying vigilant keeps the scammers at bay without costing a penny.

Got no response.
It turned out to be a loan fraud; I ignored it since the number was unfamiliar.
A bogus insulation/heat service pitch.
These jokers have become a real pest – since 5/7/25 I’ve fielded five calls from 0204601 with varying last four digits (2021, 2022, 2023, 2216, and today 2283). When I pause a couple of seconds, the mysterious caller hangs up.
Never answered the call; the same number rang repeatedly, and I also read the other comments here.
A very polite, well‑spoken man rang about heat loss; I told him I hadn’t experienced any and he abruptly hung up. I’ve blocked him.
A silent call that ended after fifteen seconds.
My phone was set to answer, but nothing was recorded; I wouldn’t have picked up anyway given the unknown number.
Today a foreign‑accented man rang, insisting he could pay me £2,900.93 as compensation for a mortgage I supposedly settled long ago. He called again on Friday from a similar number ending in 83, repeating the claim. I told him loudly that I never had a mortgage, and he disconnected.
A brief six‑second silent call hit my TPS‑registered number.
Just got a call a few minutes ago from an Asian bloke on this number; the caller knew my name and started rambling about a loan. I told them I wasn’t interested and hung up, mate.
That was a nuisance call, so I ignored it, cheers.
Seems like a phishing ploy, probably an automated scrape of telephone numbers.
Someone called repeatedly, more than once daily, using the same number that ends in 4 – proper bother, mate.
Got a call from the Heat Loss Team and they just hung up, mate.
I was contacted to see if I’d ever used car finance in the last 20 years; I was gobsmacked when I said I never bought a car on credit. They asked for the registration to remove me from their list, but I’m not buying it, mate.
Received a silent call – nothing said, mate.
Got an automated prompt asking me to take a quick survey on behalf of several well‑known brands, coming from a bunch of different numbers, cheers.
They claimed they could assist with a car PCP reclaim – a scam.
Another number that tweaks its digits when blocked – I’m fed up and want these calls stopped. It’s a landline, not a mobile, with an area code.
I let it ring out because the caller ID was unfamiliar.
