If you get a call saying you’ve been in a car accident – especially from +442038687506 – treat it as a scam. The script is usually pre‑recorded, mentions a name like Lydia Barry, and tries to push you into giving personal details. Hang up straight away, add the number to your phone’s block list and register it with the TPS. Report the call to Action Fraud and consider a call‑blocking app for extra protection. Never call back or provide any information; genuine insurers will contact you through official channels, not a cold‑call claiming you’re at fault.
