The number +442037436972 appears to be linked to persistent scam calls, often impersonating Virgin Media or Vodafone. Users report being contacted about non-existent contract expirations or promotional offers, which raises significant suspicion. Many have noted that these calls seem to target individuals who do not even have accounts with the purported companies. If you receive a call from this number, it's advisable to ignore it and definitely do not share any personal information. Always verify any claims through official channels, as the legitimacy of these calls is highly questionable.

Received a call from this number claiming to represent Virgin Media; they skipped security checks and asked for my mobile provider, but I said it was none of their business and ended the call.
Over the past couple of weeks, this number has rung me three or four times, quoting varying prices each go. While chatting with them, I looked up the caller and found out it's a dodgy scam line. The last time, they bailed when I asked about the changing quotes, bloody typical.
Inte Virgin Media, lurad
Posed as Virgin Media and bailed the second I gave my address.
Keeps ringing without voicemail, persistent harassment from a scammer – now blocked.
Total scam, mate – don't hand over any details.
Device warned it was a fraud attempt
Definitely not Virgin Media—I've received more than 10 rings from 02037436972 this week, pretending to be from Virgin. They knew my deal ends in March 2025, but when I questioned my existing setup, they only said TV, broadband, and landline, without the broadband speed or exact TV options. They disconnected right away. Unbeknownst to them, I'd already extended with Virgin this week. Stay vigilant, quiz them first before committing, and never share your details.
Contacted by Virgin Media's retention department, which operates apart from their standard support. I signed a fresh deal since my previous one was ending. Ended up with dual Virgin Media boxes, complete TV service plus Sky films, at the identical rate I once paid just for internet. Not fraudulent, though I get why it raises suspicions given the team's isolation from main Virgin Media.
I typically ignore unknown callers, but this persisted relentlessly. Upon answering, they claimed to be Virgin Media. Their explanation made no sense, so I ended the conversation courteously.
It's Virgin Media; my deal ended in March, and I've just signed another 18-month bargain.
Checked with Virgin Media, and they confirmed this isn't one of their lines.
Initial call came a week back, followed by two yesterday and one today, all notifying of Virgin Media contract renewal—which happens to be accurate. Due to the heavy Indian accent that was hard to follow, I terminated each conversation. I'll reach out to VM directly for renegotiation, my standard approach. Calls from Indian accents pretending to be VM make me cautious after being tricked last year. Consequently, my mobile got compromised, almost costing me £800. I switched numbers right away, a major inconvenience, heightening my suspicion of uninvited calls.
Received a third ring from this contact within eight days. Could legitimately be Virgin, but this instance cut off upon answering. Previously requested email details on renewal choices, yet none arrived.
Male with Asian accent said he was from Virgin Media to chat about renewing my deal. They knew my contract expires next month but couldn't provide my account details or current packages. A real rep would know I'd sorted renewal with VM last week. Almost sure it's a fraud.
This is indeed a legitimate Virgin Media contact, so claims of it being fraudulent are off base. That said, it's run from a typical Indian call centre with all the associated hassles, which can be frustrating. Still, I stuck with it because I genuinely wanted to discuss a new deal. In the end, my agreement is nearing its end, and they pushed alternatives and upgrades that didn't appeal, so I declined.
Exercise extreme caution. Scammers might spoof Virgin Media numbers to target customers. Avoid replying to unsolicited calls. Nearly all are scams, especially with Indian accents. Virgin Media contacted me to discus my contract which is coming to a end
Definitely not associated with Virgin Media.
Claiming to represent Virgin Media, they called, but I quickly realised it was a scam and hung up. They tried calling back, but I ignored it.
The caller claimed to be from Virgin Media, seeking to confirm my details, but I declined, and after informing them of my intention to switch providers, they ended the call
I've found this to be a genuine service, having recently received a renewal contract at a favourable price.
The team in question is highly commendable.
Daily calls are received from this number, falsely claiming to represent Virgin Media, and are classified as scams
Fraudulent activity pretending to be Virgin.
This was a scam attempt
This is clearly a fraudulent call
Upon receiving a call from someone purporting to be from Virgin Media, my initial instinct was that it was a scam, given that they never contact me when my contract is up for renewal; what's more disturbing is that the caller was aware of my name, a clear indication of a scammer.
This call is a clear case of deception
