Expert Opinion
Scammers keep dialing numbers pretending to be from UK mobile providers like Sky, 3, ID Mobile, or Vodafone, often with heavy accents making it tough to follow their pitch. They push fake upgrades, new SIMs, or contract deals to trick folks into sharing personal info or verifying details. Some hang up right after you pick up, testing active lines for future hits, while others get pushy if you end the call early. Block the number immediately and never call back— that's how they confirm you're reachable. Report to your carrier or authorities like the FCC to help curb these pests. If they claim a service update, always hang up and contact the real company directly through official channels to stay safe.

Seemed like a contract upgrade from 3, but I couldn't follow 80% of the woman's words (she sounded nervous), clearly fraudulent and a poor effort - blocked straight away
Scammers ring you up, hold on until you pick up, then disconnect. Definitely a fraud—probably hoping you'll call back or testing responses to target active numbers later!
Picked up a call from this number—sounded like another Indian voice or something close. Didn't bother hearing the pitch, just disconnected and blocked it.
Said they were from Sky Mobile offering a phone upgrade. After I disconnected, they rang again to question why I'd hung up!
Detest these fraudsters phoning to say they're from O2, when O2 isn't based in London at all...
Voicemail activated on the call, but nothing was recorded—suspect it's a fraudster
Claimed to be from 3 or ID Mobile, said they had to send a new SIM to upgrade my service. I told them I use eSIM only, no physical card. They insisted on over-the-air and needed ID verification. Nope. If it's a SIM update, crack on without my details. I ended it.
