Expert Opinion
Caution: unexpected late‑night calls linked to this number often signal a delivery‑related scam. Callers frequently masquerade as support lines on Deliveroo receipts, citing wrong orders or driver issues to prompt a reply. Never share banking details, passwords or personal data over the phone – verify any claim through the official app or website first. If the number appears on a receipt you didn't recognise, block it and report the incident to Deliveroo’s help centre. Keep a log of the call time and content, and consider filing a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office if you suspect fraudulent activity. Stay alert and protect your account.

I found the number on a Deliveroo receipt.
My son received a wrong order from Uber and the receipt shows this number – Uber seem to know it’s a scam and have offered a refund, yet he’s stuck with plant‑based food waiting for his money back, proper hassle, mate.
At 02:30 this morning a delivery bloke woke the whole house, kids and all, trying to drop off pizza and wine – proper nightmare, cheers.
At 02:15 a delivery was attempted for food we never ordered, waking everyone up!
Looks like a scam, pretending to be UberEats – watch out, mate.

The number appeared on a wrong Deliveroo receipt that listed a Jodie, and the driver, who spoke no English, told me via Google Translate to contact Deliveroo support. I’m unsure who actually owns this line.
This line connects you with a delivery driver who needs extra help with your order.
After ordering from a local eatery via Deliveroo, the driver left a bag that wasn’t our order and bore a receipt with a number and the name ‘Anna’. It turned out to be free food – if it’s a scam, I’m not sure how it works.
User experiance: bad and annoying
They pretended to be an insurance company, likely re‑using the number. It’s obviously bogus since I’ve never had an accident, and they drop the call as soon as I mention that, speaking with a South Asian accent.
Someone apparently hacked my Deliveroo account to order food, proper mess, cheers.
