They claimed to be from Virgin Media and O2, offering a free SIM card due to a merger. I’m not with either company, and they removed my number after I asked. Definitely a scam.

My phone automatically blocked an unsolicited call from this number.
A rude individual, who insulted me, claimed my SIM card was about to be blocked and that i needed a new interface and SIM card due to a supposed merger between Virgin and O2, but i suspected a scam and kept him talking to waste his time, he became agitated when i said i would verify the information with my utility company, and he asked my age, which i didnt provide, giving no personal info at all, seemd like a scammer.
Following a call from this number, I was informed that my SIM card would be blocked in 7 days due to the merger between Virgin Media and O2, which I knew to be a scam. The caller became aggressive when I confronted them, and despite further attempts to contact me, they have since stopped calling after I refused to engage.
Claimed to be from Virgin Media, stating my SIM card would be blocked in 7 days... I'm not even with Virgin Media!!! Clearly seeking personal details.
