A recorded message claimed to be from barclays, but it was clearley a scam, as they wouldnt have my number, and even if it was a legitamate barclays number, it's been compromized so its not trustworthy.
A robotic voice claimed to be from Barclays bank, but it's evident that this is a dangerous scam operated by a criminal gang, and users should be cautious not to provide any information.
If you're not carefull, they can be very convinving, but its defenitly a scam, I cut them off and blocked the number x

A new one was issued. While the call and texts might have been real, it’s safer to assume the number could be spoofed. Contacting Barclays through a secure method is the best approach. The caller claimed to be from the Barclays fraud team. There was an automated recording that used personal information, which is a clear sign of a scam since no legitimate bank would share personal details without verifying your identity. Additionally, the recording mentioned someone else's first and last name. Definitely a scam!
