She answered the call, said no, and then hung up.
A woman rang about spray‑foam insulation; when I told her I wouldn’t talk because I suspected a scam, she insisted she wasn’t and then hung up. An hour later they called back, and as soon as I recognised their signature ‘bloop’, I hung up again.
I’ve blocked all 019 area codes because I know no contacts there. This call appears to be an insulation scam masquerading as building regulations, similar to other 019 scams covering home‑help, loft insulation and washer warranties. Generally, prefixes like 011‑019, 020, 075‑079 are linked to fraudulent schemes.
An Asian woman referenced insulation; I told her I wasn’t interested and hung up. She called again ten minutes later, but I let it go to voicemail.

When I answered, the person on the line simply said ‘Goodbye’ and hung up – a total waste of time.
A man with an Indian accent claimed to be from BRS and asked if I was the property owner. I told him the place was rented to gauge his reaction, and he simply hung up. Clearly a spam call.
A gentleman claimed to be looking for the property owner and said he represented BRS – British Regulations Service. This isn’t the first call I’ve received from a so‑called ‘BRS’, which seems made up. I hung up both times, suspecting a scam.

I received a call today, 19 May 2025 at 16:38, from someone claiming to be from BRS. When I asked what BRS meant, she explained it stood for Building Regulations Service and wanted details about my home's insulation. Background chatter suggested a foreign call centre.
A call came in on landline 19052025, the person claiming to be from BRs asking what that meant. I clarified it stood for Buildings Regulation Services. He then inquired whether my insulation was still installed or had been taken out. I simply said I was all good, thanks, and ended the chat. No dramas, mate.
