More scammers, unfortunately ☹️.
Uncertain who called; I answered silently, and it was the second call at 7 am. I’ve now blocked the number.
A call came through on my work mobile while I was busy; I missed it and the log flagged the number as suspected spam.
Just tossed it straight into the block list, cheers.
Someone claimed to be O2 offering a 40% discount and a gift hamper, but they couldn’t verify my email or name – proper annoying, mate.

Got a pitch for a 40% discount on an O2 contract – definitely a scam, yeah?
A call from 01939 834790 started silently, then a male with limited English and a noisy background – lots of other conversations and a strong Indian accent – claimed to be from Three, offering a discount on a new top‑line phone. I told him he was a scammer and not from Three; he didn’t argue and the call ended.
They've been ringing once an hour for the past three hours; I ignored it as it’s flagged spam, cheers.
When I answered with a greeting, the other side replied 'goodbye' and the line dropped; I have now blocked them.
This was a scam/spam call from a disgraceful organisation.
It's a scam/fraud; ignore and block it, another unethical operation trying to steal from us.
I was cold‑called, but the line was disconnected before I could answer.
Couldn't recognise the number, so I left it unanswered – typical spam, mate.
Just a scam, plain and simple – block it, mate.
It appeared on my phone as spam, so I didn’t answer.
A follow‑up call arrived from a nearly identical number – another 02 scam.
