They didn’t respond after my greeting, which felt very shady.
The caller, sounding like a non‑native speaker, asked “may I speak to…” and hung up after nine seconds. It was my first contact from this spoofed number – clearly a scam.
Got loads of calls from this number, blocked it but it still shows up as a scam from my provider – proper nuisance, innit.
They called me by name, background chatter made it clear it was a call centre, so I hung up.
