Recieved a call from BetVictor, they were promting promotions avaliable on my acount.
A caller with a Geordie accent asked for me by name, claiming it was about an online account. When I questioned their identity, they refused to provide details unless they spoke to the person they were asking for. This led to a standoff. Given others have reported similar calls requesting bank details for a tax rebate, this seems like a scam. I’m on the TPS, so this call is illegal harassment.
