The behaviour is predictable: silent rings, brief hangs‑up, and relentless re‑calls despite requests to be removed. Hang up straightaway, block the number on your handset and flag it to your mobile carrier or the Information Commissioner’s Office. Never hand over personal details or agree to payments, and register with the Telephone Preference Service to shrink the nuisance.
