Answered the call, but there was no sound before it cut off. It's very harassing, so I've blocked it now. It's from the Worcestershire area.

Following a call purportedly from BT regarding a switch to EE for my broadband service, I expressed concern and requested written confirmation due to previous issues with dropped calls. The representative insisted on discussing the matter over the phone, and when I declined, they terminated the call. What's concerning is that the number appears to be alternating between available and unavailable, and I'm still within a 2-year contract that was set up by EE less than a year ago.
A BT representative was claimed to be the caller, who discussed a merger with EE and offered a new deal, but hung up after being asked to send an email instead.
On Monday, I received a call from someone claiming that EE and BT were now merged and wanted to discuss potential deals with me. After asking for my mobile number's last digits, they promised to send a verification text message, but I refused to engage with them, requesting instead that they send me written information if their offer was legitimate. I found their approach to be harassing and ended the call.
