Expert Opinion

These calls from +441873440100 are almost certainly a scam. The caller usually introduces herself as Jane and pushes a free medical alert bracelet or a fake home‑care service, then hangs up as soon as you ask questions. Never give personal or bank details and don’t confirm any address. Let the phone ring out or hang up straight away, then block the number on your handset and report it to the Information Commissioner’s Office or the national spam‑call registry. Keep a record of the time and what was said – it helps the authorities spot repeat offenders.
