This number belongs to Advantis credit, they oporate on several similiar numbers, always a robo mesage, they are a low life debt collection agency based in Stoke on Trent, I dont owe ennybody ennything, so its a quick delete and block job
The number 01782 971401 could definitely be considered charlatans in my opinion, but they are certainly not scammers. I ultimately decided to block them.

When I answered my home phone, which typically only rings for people or businesses I've given my number to, a female voice was on the line. She spoke so softly that I struggled to hear what she was calling about, except for asking me to call back at the number she provided. I noted down the number accurately from the last caller.
Advantis, a debt company, is associated with this number; they are reportedly cooperative and willing to establish a manageable repayment plan
It is essential to pay your debts, otherwise the rest of us will be affected by higher charges. However, dont pay these scamers, instead pay the actual person you owe money to. If you are struggeling to pay, consider speaking to your local Citizens Advice office about going bankrupcy, but be aware of scamers pretending to be them. Also, if you are debt free, check for any acounting errors or posibly ID theft, especialy if you have a new adress or phone number.
An answerphone message was left by this unknown caller, but I have not yet listened to it as I let the call ring out.

Avensis contacted me about a letter they supposedly sent. I never got it or asked for their help. Just another company trying their luck, now blocked.
Upon answering, an automated voice from Advantis Credit asked me to return their call, but when I did, they requested my account number, which I denied having, and after verifying my identity, they agreed to remove my number from their list.
A call from 01782 971401 claimed to be from Advantis, stating that someone is searching for me and that I'm missing. If someone truly was looking for me, I would have received a letter, but nothing has arrived. An Irish-sounding lady spoke to me like I was foolish, asking for my details, but I refused to provide any, as they are likely scammers!
The number has been blocked, as it is suspected to be used for scamming purposes.

A debt collection scam was attempted from 01782971401, claiming I owed money despite having no outstanding debts
I have recieved aproximatly a dozen calls from this number, and they have left voicemails every time, its quite anoying.
Persistent calls from them, expressing a desire to talk to me. I responded once, stating that I owe no one any money and have not received any letters from them. They refused to accept my address, and despite their new message expressing concern for my wellbeing during these challenging times, I still haven't received any letter. They identify themselves as Adventiss.
