Received a call from a household appliance protection/insurance company (suspected scam). They claimed I'd been a good customer and were reducing the price. The caller had a non-British accent, spoke slowly, and was hard to understand. They didn't know my name, address, or any insured equipment. After multiple requests to repeat, they said they'd send paperwork. I agreed and hung up. It's clear they're trying to extract information or pull off a scam. Avoid such calls!
