An attempt was made to scam the recipient by offering a better deal on their mobile phone, but the call was blocked and terminated
When I answered, an automated voice claimed to be from a bank, stating that there had been activity on my account that morning, including purchases on Amazon totalling over £1000. The voice instructed me to press a number to confirm or deny the transactions, but I did not comply and ended the call.
Scammers yet again, pretending to be from EE, I know they aren't! They had thick accents! When I challenged them, they became rude and hung up! Block, block, block!
Claimed to be from BT Broadband, stating I'd been overcharged and had been their customer for two years.
