Opinia expertului
In the quiet of a Sheffield evening, this persistent number rings with suspicious intent. Reports paint a clear picture of a lottery scam targeting folks with automated calls from a robotic female voice, often saying 'hello, can you hear me?' or claiming free tickets and prizes. Scammers fish for personal details to exploit you—never engage or confirm you can hear them, as it might record your voice for fraud. Block the number straight away and report it to your phone provider or Action Fraud. If they keep calling from new lines, consider registering with the Telephone Preference Service to cut down nuisance calls. Stay vigilant; these tricks prey on curiosity but can lead to identity theft or worse.

Woman picked up and said “hello ‘——‘ can you hear me!
Automated voice from first prize lotto greets with 'hello {name}, can you hear me?' AVOID RESPONDING YES!!! It's a con. They've rung multiple times using various numbers despite blocks. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD STEER CLEAR!!!! This mess needs fixing—it's absurd!!
During the ring, my mobile flagged it as a 'potential fraud' in red. I skipped answering and blocked it. Based on other reports, the alert was spot on.
Fraud
A woman rang offering free lottery tickets for the weekend. No idea who she was, not a clue! I joked to just grab them if you're feeling fortunate.....haha, shared no info. Yet another fraud !!!! Best of luck, dear, with all your tickets.
Robot voice used my first name to ask if I could hear it—looks like a lottery con, share nothing and hang up fast
The frequency of these calls is becoming unbearable, with the same automated voice claiming lottery winnings and requesting personal details, only to call back from a different number after being blocked.
After ignoring the first call, i decided to call back, and a female voice picked up, sounding kinda robotic and uneasy, sayin “hello can you hear me”
A call was received from a well-spoken individual using the same voice as a previous caller, who had claimed to represent visa, but this time was claiming to represent lotto, raising suspicions due to the different phone number used.
