Numerous messages have been left by individuals claiming to represent 'eco save', attempting to renew a business energy contract, despite having no prior knowledge of or affiliation with the company, indicating a potential scam.
A caller from Eco Save claimed to handle our energy account, but they don't. They also mentioned a previous business owner from six years ago, which is incorrect. I asked them to remove my details as they don't have consent and are violating data protection. They disagreed. I told them to stop contacting me. This company seems fraudulent and harassing.
A energy broker contacted me, claiming I was out of contract and that they were from EDF, despite my current deal being with EON Next, they then claimed they could negociate with any utility company to get the best deal and started using technical terms, but I asked them to call back another day and have now blocked the number

This number claims to be from 'Eco Save', supposedly working with British Gas. They mentioned our contract ending and tried to get bank details. Clearly a scam.
I got a scam call from someone claiming to be from EDF, they had all the wrong details about my contract, and they wouldnt email me the contract, saying it had to be done verbaly, i'm hoping they call back so i can give them a piece of my mind
Claimed to be calling from Opus Energy about them going out of business and being taken over by EDF. However, I’m not even a customer of theirs.

This seems like a fishing or scam operation. The company name didn’t match the caller’s description, and the lack of previous comments suggests it’s a recent scam attempt.
