In my experience, the call was genuine but outdated, as I had been having issues with my Utility Warehouse Smart Meter, and after complaining to the energy ombudsman, I received an apology email from them, but I had already switched energy suppliers due to their evasiveness
The person at the other end of the line dont know who they are, i called UW and they confirmed the number is one of Calisen, you can find more informations on https://www.calisen.com/, aparently details were passed from UW to Calisen for installation of the smart meter.

A representative claimed to be from a utility service previously known as LOWRI BECK, stating they were instructed to reach out regarding a metering concern by my energy supplier. I decided to dismiss the call and contacted my supplier directly, who assured me they were unaware of any such issue, as my meters function perfectly. If you receive a similar call, it's best to ignore them.
