The person who rang spoke decent English and insisted they weren’t selling anything, just wanted to ask five queries. They inquired about my age range – 35 to 45, 45 to 55, or 55 to 65 – and whether I rented or owned my home like them. When I refused to answer, they abruptly ended the call.

I recieved a call, picked up after a long ring, but there was silence, so i hung up and blocked the number
This particular code number keeps ringing me with a voice that sounds indian, they have my name and asks for me personnally, i've tried blocking them but they keeps changing the number after the same code, i just listened without responding and they hung up, they didnt even hear my voice
This caller was harrassing me with unsollicited calls, so i blocked them
The caller claimed to be from my local housing authority about a repair order. However, the call was from Manchester, and I live in Winchester. As a homeowner, this was clearly a scam. I told the Indian caller I lived in a tent, and she immediately hung up. :)

If you're fairly certain a call is a scam, I recomend keeping them on the line as long as posible. It stops them from contacting others and might prevent someone else from being scammed.
Upon answering after two rings, there was silence. I've decided to block this number until the next time. Presumably, it's yet another lowlife scammer.

There was complete silence when I picked up, followed by two audible clicks and then nothing.
Fake housing repairs. They pretend to be agents for your landlord but don't know who it is. I enjoy giving them a piece of my mind, and they keep calling back.
