The call is immediately routed to an auto‑reply that says “call them back”, which comes across as a complete scam.
Three notifications have arrived from these scammers, complete with a convincingly authentic‑looking letter. Absolutely rubbish!
After my two‑year TalkTalk agreement expired in September, I promptly phoned them to request disconnection. Though I switched to a new provider that same month, TalkTalk continued to send monthly invoices and DRS started issuing debt threats linked to that number, even after TalkTalk blocked my line. It feels like a scam designed solely to intimidate and extract money.

After missing four calls over a week, a letter arrived stating I owed money to Klarna, an account I never opened. I forwarded the letter to Klarna, and they confirmed no account exists. The letter, sent by DRS Recovery, turned out to be a scam. I've reported it as fraud, and Klarna advised me to disregard it. Hope this helps anyone else.

I’m still getting calls on both my home and mobile lines despite being on the TPS list—utterly pointless, mate!
I'm fed up – I get daily calls even after blocking the number, plus messages claiming I owe eBay £1,500. A bloke’s dad passed away and he was duped into paying £350, then told to wait three weeks for a receipt – total scam, why can’t BT block these callers, honestly?
An SMS from this number claimed I owed British Telecom, but I've never had a BT account, so it's a scam.
I received a call and a letter claiming I owed PAYE tax, with the caller posing as HMRC and asking for payment that day. I told them I'd pay via the official HMRC portal. They put me on hold to verify details, so I hung up. While I do have a tax bill, the £3,500 they demanded didn't match the amount owed.
