CRS debt collectors: how to stop the relentless calls! - +44 1422 746126 (01422 746126)
Summary — +441422746126
Expert Opinion
Beware of repeated calls claiming you owe money when you have no debts. Such calls often originate from firms purporting to be debt collectors, but many operate without proper authority and use aggressive tactics. Ask for written proof of any alleged debt before engaging further, and verify the creditor’s registration with the FCA or other relevant regulator. Block the number on your handset and consider using a call‑blocking app for persistent callers. Report the nuisance to Action Fraud and, if appropriate, to your mobile provider’s spam‑filter service. Regularly check your credit file for unexpected entries and never provide personal or payment details over the phone to unverified callers.

Bogus debt
User marks this as bad and suggests caution.
Fortunately, I've marked them as spam on my phone, preventing it from ringing, they're truly a nuisance

Even if this company is legitimate, debt holders must notify you in writing before transferring your debt to a third party. The third party must also confirm this in writing. Without this, you don’t owe them anything. Large companies wouldn’t overlook this step. I work in credit control and understand the legal requirements for outsourcing debt.
It's worth noting that CRS Debt Collectors operate by contacting individuals about debts they've purchased at low prices, attempting to collect the full amount; however, the original debtor remains the rightful recipient of any owed funds

The person who commented about being tracked and phoning from the toilet needs urgent psychiatric help, possibly sectioning. It's bad enough dealing with unwanted calls without reading disturbing comments from someone who seems deranged. Whoever you are, please get help before harming others!
Following a spam call, I received a voicemail while I was occupied, and it started a series of spam calls from other debt collectors, including CARS in Stroud, which seems to be a legitimate company but is being used for illicit purposes.
Thank you to the commenters; I received a similar voice mail asking me to call back, but I didn't fall for it.

Apparently this number is masquerading as Halifax bank, however no such number is asociated with the bank

This scam number texts me five times a week, claiming I owe Clearpay. I checked my account, and there’s no debt. Blocked repeatedly, but messages come from various numbers
This number belongs to a debt scam operation. Despite owing them £90, I’ve refused to pay, and now CRS keeps harassing me daily, even with their number blocked. It’s just an automated robot demanding a callback. They’re a powerless small debt firm preying on vulnerable individuals. I’d love to see them attempt court action or send a bailiff—it would be laughable!
Parasites in the form of third-party debt collectors are reaching out, asking for a return call. I've blocked them.
I missed the call, and when I tried to return it, the number was not recognised; I was advised to check the number and try again. 😡
