These are SCAMMERS.

These individuals are clearly trying to deceive, as they have no knowledge of my personal details, utterly disgusting behavior

A message was left on my answerphone, claiming to be from CRS, saying they've been trying to contact me about a personal matter, sounds like a tax debt scam to me

After calling back, I was asked a security question but refused to answer until the purpose of the call was disclosed, citing concerns over data protection.

Received a call from this number earlier today. I didn’t answer since it was unfamiliar, assuming they’d leave a message if it was important. They did, urging me to call back urgently regarding a personal matter, but failed to provide specifics, a name, or any reference details. Very suspicious... clearly a scam. Blocked the number and moved on, focusing on Covid 19 concerns.

My husband answered the call but could barely hear the message, and a subsequent Google search warned that the number is potentially dangerous

It might be drs or possibly crs. This automated call occurs nearly every day now. I hang up immediately. Try not to stress; it's a scam from someone who shows no regard for how they affect others and clearly does not care about stealing your hard-earned money. They would take your home without a second thought if given the chance.
