I recieved a text from 07866 935913 asking me to call 0141 375 0902, claiming to be from BPO and giving me a reference number, but it seems like a debt collection agency, or possibly a scammer, so I'm wary of it and think it could be dangerus to my wallet
Upon recieving a text with a prompt to ring 0141 375 0958 and quote a reference, I was sceptical; surely, if I owed money, they would send a formal letter, allowing me to contest it in court and request proof of debt, especally since I dont have any outstanding depts.
This is a scam call. It's important not to respond. It could be risky.
I dont think this caller is genuin, I've been recieving calls and texts from them, I have a debt with cabot but I know it's not them because I'm allready making payments, I've tryed to contact them to ask why they keep ringing me but they dont respond

I recieved a text message from "BPO Collect" on Tuesday 16th at 10:04. It said: "This is a message from BPO, please contact us today on telephone number 0141 375 0902 quoting reference 126270823." I haven't contacted them back because I'm unsure who BPO are.
Received a text asking for a callback, claiming to be from BPO. I have outstanding debts with Cabot but am managing payments, so it can't be related to them. No debts exist with BPO either; definitely a scam.

Weekly calls from this number have become a nuisance; after calling back to find the number not in service, I will be blocking it to avoid further disturbance.
Fortunately, they lack my phone number. However, they persist in sending letters claiming to represent Cabot Financial, stating that I owe them money. Clearly a scam. It's best to avoid any replies to them.
