Whether it's Scottish Power or not, this constitutes unwanted harassment. Blocking the number as a precaution against spam or scams is the best course of action. Better safe than sorry

The caller doesn't respond when I answer. Silence on their end, happening 3 to 4 times a day. Unclear why they're calling.
Repeatedly ringing me 2 to 3 times daily, never leaves a message. Based on the information here, it appears to be Scottish Power attempting to push for a smart meter installation or possibly a scam.
After searching the phone number online, it was identified as a smart meter scam.

They called four times, and upon answering, claimed it was regarding our outdated meter.

This number somehow has my full details, including both phone numbers and my entire name, and claimed to be from Scottish Power regarding meter replacements.

I've been recieving a scam call claiming to be from scottish power
Received a call about a meter reaching its end of life and an offer for a smart meter. They asked if I was the account holder and for my details. I recognised it as a scam, especially during BBC Scam Week. I would contact Scottish Power directly for such services, not respond to unsolicited calls.

Following a series of calls from this number, I decidied not to answer it and instead looked it up on Who Called Me to see if others had similair experinces.
The call was automaticaly blocked as it was suspisous.
i got two calls in five minutes, my mobile blocked the first one but they rang my house phone, they claimed to be from Scottish Power but i knew they was scammers so i hung up, both numbers are registered with the Telephone Preference
