Got a ring on 3 Sept 2025 at 15:03, but I no longer answer my landline. After it stopped, I saw it came from 01376 747127. No voicemail was left, so I’m guessing it’s the same lot reported here. I got a repeat of a previous message: 'Hi, this is Jo' from a different number, apparently an energy scam using 01376747127.
Someone introduced themselves as Jo, your local energy adviser, but the number doesn’t match my area, so I hung up.
Not again with Braintree – that’s obviously fake, followed by someone calling themselves ‘Jo the energy advisor’. I slammed the handset after dealing with this nonsense for ages; sounds like a call centre from some far‑off land, maybe lizards. Cheers!
