Opinione dell’esperto
Check the caller’s identity before you engage. The +44 12 8233 5045 line is widely reported as a CAPLL Ltd call‑centre that follows up on recent fundraising lottery or regular‑giving sign‑ups for organisations such as Battersea Dogs Home, RSPCA, Scope and the British Heart Foundation. These calls are generally safe, but the lack of a voicemail can feel intrusive. Keep a short note of the charity you agreed to support, then ask the operator to confirm the specific campaign and their affiliation. If the script feels vague or you receive repeated silent rings, consider verification and block the number or report it to your phone provider.

The call ended abruptly after a few words, possibly due to my short-term donation to the RSPCA.
Using truecaller, I found numerous reports indicating this number is spam, so it got automatically blocked. After checking here, many people mentioned they had signed up for the Battersea home lottery, which I hadn’t, making this a nuisance call for me.
This seems to be a follow-up call for those who entered the Battersea Dogs Home Paw Draw. I hadn't answered previously, but now I know who it is, I will.
This number is related to a Battersea paw draw, apparently for confirmation purposes.

Daily ringing from this number is a significant nuisance, very annoying indeed, a right pain
A worker from Battersea came to my house and asked me to sign up for the lotery, seems autorised but weird
I mistakenly signed up for Paw Draw yesterday and didn't recognise this number, so I ignored it! I still wish to contribute, so I hope they call again. Thank you for all the feedback (I usually make notes because of annoying canvassers, but I will answer if they call back).
Given the numerous comments about this number, it appears to be associated with Battersea Dogs Home, from which I've received two calls, and although I've opted for text and email updates, I will decline any further calls.
Receiving multiple calls from this number now. How did they obtain my landline? I never respond to unknown numbers. Blocking it is my next step.
I had signed up to the Battersea dogs home raffle draw yesterday, thats why they called me
