Upon answering, they inquired if I was a particular Mrs, to which I replied that it was a wrong number, and they abruptly ended the call without apologising for the disturbance, prompting me to block the number.

Currently receiving a call from them
I received a call a few weeks ago from this number claiming my washing machine warranty had expired. When I asked for the make, the man guessed incorrectly and quoted £30 a month for the warranty. I ended the call.
They calld about my wash machine warrenty and tried to sel me insurance, i told them no thanks bye, the issue was resolved quickly.
A British man claimed to be from ‘Home Shield’, saying my washing machine warranty had expired and offering renewal. I pointed out I had to pay for repairs myself, which he awkwardly tried to justify. Clearly following a script, he kept pushing for £9/month. I declined, noting how easily an elderly person might be fooled.
This is clearly an unsolicited call.
