A message from ACI, using my first name, asked me to call about an Amex debt I never incurred; I can't block texts from an unknown sender, so I simply deleted it—another Blackpool‑area scam.
A scam text asked me to call back with a reference number; I ignored, blocked, and reported it.

After getting a text from aci that mentioned my first name and a reference number, I decided to investigate. Aci is a real debt collection firm, but since I don’t owe anything, I checked the number and then deleted the message.

Identified as a scam
Repeatedly, I've recieved texts from this number regarding an email about outstanding debt, however I havn't recieved any email, leading me to beleive it's a scam to obtain my informations.
Apparently, this is a total scam - they sent me a text claiming I owed money, which is laughable. Best to ignore it.
