Ive been getting these debt scam calls for 3 years now, they keep changing the company name and number, its very stressful, they even give fake names and reference numbers

Following previous calls from ACU, I refrained from sharing personal details for security questions, and then I received a text message stating they would visit my home; upon calling the provided number, I was again asked for personal information, despite having no debt.
My 18-year-old received a text saying, "We have been instructed by ACI to visit your home in relation to your account. We plan to visit your address within 14 days to verify your residence and contact our client. If you’d rather resolve this without a visit, call our client on 01253 226046, quoting 933968." What nonsense. He’s only 18 and has no credit history. These criminals should face serious punishment for trying to scare innocent people into calling their scam number.
