I received a call from this number on Saturday 1 February 2020 at 12:40, but I didn’t answer because I didn’t recognise it.
The person claimed to be from TalkTalk, saying my internet had errors they could fix, but hung up as soon as I said they weren’t really from TalkTalk – clearly a scam.
A recorded female message warned that my broadband could be terminated immediately because of fraudulent activity linked to my IP address, urging me to press 1 to speak to a technician – I blocked it.
