The phone went off just before 9am today from this number. By the time I reached for it, it had stopped. Unfamiliar digits, so I won't ring back.

Calls from this number often involve scammers posing as representatives from a 'Homecare' policy or call-blocking service, threatening to debit hundreds of pounds from bank accounts for supposed insurance or contracts that recipients never signed up for. Tactics include referencing outdated personal details to build false credibility, then offering discounts to pressure quick payments—classic hallmarks of a fraudulent scheme. In one instance, the caller turned aggressive when challenged, highlighting the manipulative nature. Normally skip unknown numbers, but answered this expecting a biz call from an unfamiliar line. Female on the other end wanted my husband; told her he'd passed nearly a year back, she said sorry and rang off.
She insisted I owed the last fee for some call blocker setup????? Nonsense, as I haven't.
Got a call this morning shortly after 9, asking for my deceased husband. They claimed I had a deal with them for screening my landline calls. Offered a discounted fee of about £200 for the service. I mentioned my agreement is with Sky; she insisted she handles blocks for Sky, BT, and so on. Definitely a con.
Extremely rude fraudster phoning from a bustling call centre - related to some offer due to no claims on my 'Homecare policy'. Upon saying I had none, she got aggressive, threatening to deduct £350 from my account today, adding 'see how you like that, and have a nice day' in a venomous manner
Abrupt female in a chaotic call centre environment. I'd previously blocked them, yet they're using a similar number now, just one digit altered. Fraudulent—block it!
Call came in 30 mins back. Claimed they'd yank £360 from my account for contents insurance I supposedly signed up for two years ago. No proof or emails from 'em. Offered to halve it to £180. Used an old address from six years past! Got a fresh bank card, but they reckoned the old one still worked!
SCAM - HOMECARE - BLOCKED
Received the ring mentioning £360 for Homecare, discounted by half. Claimed it was pending bank withdrawal. We hung up the receiver.
