A cold call informing me that I had won a competition...
I was contacted by CLC World Resorts, claiming I'd entered a competition, but they started asking for personal information, which I refused to provide, and asked them to remove my data.
Apparently, a competition entry was made in my name on 11th June, but I have no recollection of doing so, which raised suspicions when a man from CLC called to discuss it, prompting me to cut the conversation short.
Following an alleged competition entry with Heart Radio and Classic FM, which I never actually made, I was contacted by CLC World, who claimed to be verifying details and wished me 'good luck', while also requesting sensitive information such as my marital status and income.
