A woman claimed to be conducting a survey for thames water, offering £50 to visit my house regarding a water leak, which I havent had, it sounds suspisous and I beleive its a ploy to obtain bank details, why cant they just do it over the phone?
This number is now blocked after I received a call requesting I complete a survey for Npower, despite never having dealt with them, and they abruptly ended the call.
I just recieved a call from a company claiming to be 'watermelon research', saying I'd done a survey for National Rail, but after checking my emails, and telling them I'd recieved nothing in the post, they got desparate, and I hung up, what a bunch of scammers, quite ammusing actually

I'm unsure why I received this cold call, and more concerning is how they obtained my phone number.
The caller claimed to represent Eon, stating that we had renewed our contract, which was not the case; they asserted that a letter would be sent, but I questioned the necessity of the call if a letter was forthcoming
Claimed to be from Thames Water conducting research. Asked several questions and mentioned a 90-minute interview for which they offered £50. When I said I was busy, the caller marked me as a decline.
