The number rang repeatedly, alleging to be Companies House. The agency has reported multiple similar cases recently and confirms it never initiates outbound calls.
They called us repeatedly today, claiming to represent our current energy supplier, were extremely rude, shouted over the phone and threatened legal action. Please block this number if possible!
They pretended to be British Gas checking our account, but didn’t even know our name – we’re on an LPG tank.
Multiple calls claimed to be from an electricity supplier but refused to identify the provider, ringing repeatedly.
They tried to pose as a British gas supplier demanding payment; after I mentioned I use Eon, they called back from the same number claiming to be from Eon ten minutes later. Absolutely irritating scam.
