There's an 'energy advisor' called Chris calling folks in my postcode – sounds like a convincing AI bot, gets a bit cheeky when you ask about the area, then claims to be new and passes you to his manager. When I pressed for the area, there was a long pause, a polite 'thanks for your time' and the line died. Mate.

Someone tried to sell me loft insulation under false pretences.
They attempted to market loft insulation, which I consider harassment since my loft already has over 30 cm of insulation.
He introduced himself as Chris, a local energy adviser, claiming to be from Aberdeen while I reside on the south coast. I didn’t answer, as I regularly get similar calls from many numbers—clearly a scam.
I’m on the TPS and listed as ex‑directory, so I don’t want, answer, or accept any nuisance calls – I blocked and deleted this one straight away.

He brushed off my reply and ignored my query about the purpose of the call. After I reiterated that installers were coming, he hung up.
