A woman with an Indian accent introduced herself as Veronica from a communications firm linked to EE. She knew my name and mentioned EE, but I was convinced it was a scam and hung up.

I was phoned by ‘Domestic Care’ about washing‑machine maintenance cover; told them to find a job that uses their brain instead of ripping people off, then they hung up – wonder why, lol.

Two calls came in today; each was disconnected as soon as I answered, which usually indicates a busy automated line. When I returned the call anonymously, a recording said, “We tried to call you for market research, you don't need to do anything.” This feels like a scam.

I got a call claiming it was about my solar panels – which I don’t have. When I asked for clarification, the caller repeated the claim and then hung up.

Yet another call from these Scammers, claiming to be from Gov.uk, trying to get Council & Social Housing Compensation. I told him it’s a scam and asked to remove my number, saying I’m buying privately. He became very rude and aggressive, shouting 'stupid woman, you're a liar, they will keep calling.' Great, another number to block. Why aren’t these people being stopped?

The caller addressed me by name and claimed to be from the social housing repair team regarding a complaint about bathroom damp and mould. When I questioned if it was a joke, he abruptly disconnected.

This number is being used for a council house repair scam aparently.

This call is likely an attempted scam.
